i also love those tracks, but there's some bland ones on that album. Their last album 'mew and the glass handed kites' took me a year before i got it but now it's one of my favorites.
Don't go back to the album 'am i wry' is from (frengers) but go back to the last one, It's so over the top, almost a prog rock epic, pretty different from 'frengers' but i think that's the point - and J Mascis guesting on vocals! I was very dissapointed at first, but eventually went with it and now i can listen to it anytime

I bought the album after hearing "Am I Wry" on radio or mtv2. Was really looking forward to it, but was ledt ditinctly unimpressed by it.
Perhaps I should give it another go?
